Our Services

Michigan Search and Rescue is primarily a missing persons response team.  Canine teams are available 24/7 to aid in the search for missing persons in all types of situations.

Our services include those of trailing dogs - usually bloodhounds who trail the scent of a specific person from their last known location.

Also included are airscent or wilderness dogs.  These dogs range from their handlers and look for any human scent - alive or recently deceased.  When they locate such a scent, they return to the handler in order to lead the handler back to what they've found.

One other type of dog team is part of Michigan Search and Rescue - that is a human remains detection specialist dog.  These teams specialize in locating deceased individuals including buried and drowning victims.
